Mr. Mom No, it wasn't a "Bugeye," it was indeed a modified Kirby. Either a Classic or Classic Omega. I think it would have looked more menacing with the shag rake attached.... | ||

I have the movie.. it's a modified Classic. They apparently placed some sort of bulky transmission device on the side of it that they could control via remote control. It looks like it was where the em-tor should be. They also placed a different type of handle on the machine - which looks like that of a big indusitrial rotating floor polisher. Over all you could tell that they were trying to make the beast look more industrial and scary looking. And of course, they did their best to cover up all signs of the Kirby logo :)
