Hi

kirbymodel2c's profile picture

The correct nozzle for the Kirby model 2C is the one in the first picture.

The one in the second belongs to a model C

I hope this helps

James,

Yes, I was shocked that Kirby used the 1C nozzle by mistake on that October 1974 rebuild of the 2C.

Hi

Hi Ben, It's possible the people at Kirby mixed up the heads when it went in then again it could of been sent in with the wrong head or even someone swopped the head around after the rebuild.

I've seen all kinds of kirby's with mixed up parts lol.

James,

But weirder still is that models such as the 2C were not often taken in for factory reconditioning in 1974 as opposed to 1954.
