Call the Vacuum Police! Vacuumlad1650 was found passed out on his shop floor, from superise on Monday Afternoon. He found out his Newly Acquired Hoover 62 was all original minus the belt and Motor Bearings! Even Worse, he discovers the Bellows are damaged beyond repair, and the zipper on the bag is stuck! Someone wave a Type C bag under his nose, it may revive him!

Yes, that's right! I paid $20 for this Hoover 62, 2 Brand New GE Wands, a GE Reach-Easy floor tool, an Electrolux Pn-2, a (SEALED!!!) Electrolux Woven CLOTH (Not Woven Vinyl) Hose, and a Hoover style 40 Belt!

My Dear Friend, Mr. John Gregory (Hate all you want, I dont care! He's my friend and I wont be shamed for that! You are just wasting your OWN time) has sent me New Type C Bellows, an outer bag, a new cord, and a new belt! I just need those to arrive...

The Service Tag says Last Service: 2-5-82. INSERTED New Motor Bearings and Belt. Metropolitan Hoover Service, Oak brook Illinois

Vac Shop owner says it was traded in in '83, and had been there since!

Here are some pictures to drool over! The motor runs smooth as silk!

Anyone have a Set of Brush inserts I can use? These are worn!

More Pictures upon my adding the new parts

Nice machine. I love the 60 Series. My 63 is my prized possession. All original and damn near perfect all around. Super quiet and smooth running. Makes the best daily driver

Nice Hoover Andy. You'll get it restored in no time. Never let anyone make you feel bad for who your friends are. John has been very kind to me as well, sending me one of a kind items for the Museum. There will always be someone who doesn't like a person you are friends with. You cannot allow their feelings to influence yours. Adam Mercer is one of my best friends - however - my initial feelings about him (before I ever met him) were influenced negatively by someone else. I'm delighted and proud to say I didn't continue to allow myself to be influenced by someone else's negativity. I met Adam, and I'm very proud to call him one of my closest friends today. Make up your own mind about John Gregory.

Thanks for those words! I can defiantly say John is my friend. If others have a problem with that, well, that's on them! I was shamed for MENTIONING John in my last thread, but they cant Change what I post (Unless they happen to be Fred and Robert...). I shall post whet I choose is Appropriate, and its all up to me! So if you have a Problem with John, Keep it to YOURSELF! Its your own time your wasting!
