Hey guys my grandma went to the local goodwill for me because I had called to see if they had any machines and the lady on the phone checked she said 2 Dirt Devils a Bissell Powerforce Bagged and a shark. The shark part threw me off my voice got that exited tone and I asked what color ( like an idiot might I add ) and she must have thought I was insane but she said purple and this is what I ended up with ( before picture ) it's to late to do a cleaning

I don't know much about these but I have used one and was quite impressed. Easy to move and even the hose and attachments worked well. Brushroll stops for hard floors and attachment use.

I just fixed my Shark and it grooms my carpet well. It's my 2nd main vac along with my original black Kenmore Progressive Direct Drive

Pros:
Grooms carpet well
Amazing suction
A nice long hose
Brush roll on off
Washable filters

Cons:
The handle is flimsy

I came across a few of these when I did Filter Queen sales. All had very bad cyclone and filter blockages in the top that needed cleaning. Even after all of that, carpet cleaning results seemed sad. Air flow through the hose wasn't bad and on some Sharks the hose suction is extremely impressive. But what I found after running a Filter Queen after ANY Shark unit whether a Navigator, Rotator or other in my demo experience was really sad compared to anything else I came across in the vacuum industry!!!

So enjoy it, if you like it. Might make a great quick picker upper and fun thing but don't forget about your Hoovers, Royals, Simplicity, Riccar, Meile or other high performance deep cleaner to get what these leave behind and get the real deep down filth out of your home!!

We were given a brand new one in the box. I hate it. It has sat downstairs for over a year now.

My house is mostly hardwood and an upright does not cut it.

IMHO, I am not convinced a bagless cleaner is worth it.

Nice find, and a good deal too!

I like these, and I agree with your pro-con list. I think they clean pretty well, far from the worst machines around IMHO.

Of course, the most important aspect of any machine is whether or not YOU like it.

I have a few friends that have them, biggest problem I have noticed is they don't keep them ready to clean! Just run it and dump it. Have to stay on top of cleaning the filers and keeping the airways clean on them or performance just drops and it runs hot.

Some of these uprights that have a bit more of a taper to them if the PN is detachable end up having 32mm sized cuff where friction fit hard floor tools can be added. I used to do that with a cheap Chinese bagless upright I once owned.
