Thought I would share this cause There's alot of Kirby fans here that likes seeing what other members would post about their Kirby.

I was at my vacuum store today getting a part for my Simplicity and every time I make a visit over there, I would check in the back to see what's getting thrown out. To my surprise of seeing this ultimate g just sitting there, so I asked if this was about to be thrown out (just double checking so that if was getting repaired instead). Turns out it was getting thrown out so I took this along with another vacuum I'm only scraping parts for. I looked over and everything was still in one place except the attachments cause usually they would take parts out of it before being tossed out and this one didn't. It works overall but the only issue was that the transmission sounds and feels pretty worn out but I think just a simple tune up and it would work even better. Plans for this right now is that it will be going to my storage building until later this summer, I might send this to Kirby for a rebuild but I don't think I am interested in getting attachments for this.

Nice find. Did you take the heritage as well?

Nice save!

That's definitely worth renovating. And I agree with you about the attachments. They're just too much of a PITA to be practical. I never use mine. It's just easier to pull out one of my Electrolux canisters and use the tools on those.

Nope, it got scrapped for parts and I also couldn't tell if it worked cause there was no cord on it.

I'm not really a huge Kirby fan like the rest of you guys. There's only a few that I really like and I don't care about the rest so that Heritage was unfortunately not the model I really like. Unless if any of you guys wanted to buy it from me for very cheap, I would've done it. I heard Alot of these were sold back in the 80's so there would still be plenty of these left I would easily find if I were to change my mind one day but I doubt it.
