I've always wanted a conquest! I got it at an independent thrift shop for 40 bucks. The Elite was 15 but the Salvation Army had a 50% off Sale today.

Especially the Conquest, that is very unusual to come across in thrift stores.

A good cleaning and you'll have 2 nice Hoovers to utilize.

By the way, as heavy as the Conquest is do not run over small furry creatures.

Ok Andy. Just for that, you get thrown in the lion's den at the zoo, & we let them take mercy on you. hehe. :P

I dont count cats as small furry creatures, i call them my best friend. a DOG on the other hand...dont get me started on how their tails seem to trip my Electrolux power-nozzle circuit breakers...

Give the furry ones some credit....

After all pet hair shedding makes for a wonderful excuse to take out a vacuum cleaner and run it!!!

I honestly love animals. Both cats and dogs- granted they are friendly, well trained ones!! Most of them are mooches with food. Pets make wonderful companions though. Some of them are wonderful around vacuums and you can actually vacuum them with reduced suction power and an upholstery nozzle-- preferably one with bristles! Then unfortunately there are some which are an absolute terror around them!

Here this Youtube Furminator video that I found a few months back seems to be fitting for the direction that this thread has turned! Granted if this vacuum ever did this to any pets I owned, it would be BYE BYE VACUUM!!!

Ever seen one of the Twin Conquest units? They look like two Conquests mounted side by side with a bag going up each leg of the handle.

Great find!

That's awesome! I wouldn't mind finding one of those. It is odd to see a conquest in a thrift shop, but then again you never know what you'll find. Again, congrats.
