I have a ten gallon craftsman vac and a 6 gallon vac for my garage. For my workshop/woodshop i have a ridgid 16 gallon vac with detachable leaf blower. Also have a 9 gallon craftsman that has a proteam floor tool. The last shop vac i own is a old kenmore progressive canister. Used for my planer. The 9 galon is used for cleaning the cars. Ridgid vac is used for the woodshop dust collection. My dad also has a wondervac pneumatic cleaner. Might get rid of the kennmore Trade it in for a new shop vac svx2.

I've got two wet/dry vacs...

I have a Douglas ATV 7 (All-Terrain Vacuum) that I bought in the mid-'90s when a water pipe broke in my next door neighbor's apartment. At $28, It was a cheap-o unit even back then. I think the last time I used it was when the water line to my refrigerator sprang a leak in about 2001 or 2002. As of Friday, its wands and crevice tool have been re-purposed and now reside in the rare onboard tool holders of my Electrolux Discovery Plus.

I also have a Dayton 3VE18A wet/dry vac that I diverted from the Dumpster at a store where I used to work part time. It was only a couple of years old and had hardly been used. The manager and I were cleaning up the back room and she told me to pitch it in the Dumpster but if it ended up in the back of my car, she didn't want to know about it. Then she spent the next few minutes telling me what a nice machine it was and that she hated to pitch it but it just took up too much space, considering that we never used it. So catching her drift, I took it outside and left it beside the Dumpster until I got off work, then pulled my car behind the building and threw it in the back seat. It's just missing the plate that locks the filter into place.

The most Prestigeous Wet/Dry Vacs

Fairfax, WaterMatic, & Silver King(I Think?)

I am currently waiting on a Fairfax I bought on eBay. Will post opinion when arrives.

Please excuse my Ignorance.
