I have just got this Heritage and I came across this when I started to strip it down... There is no black tube inside, just this cloth like thing... Is this something they did or a bodge someone has done? I've only ever seen the usual black tubes...

Yes, that was the way these Heritage disposable bag systems were made back then. In late 1982, they switched to the plastic fill tube.

Aha! I have another Heritage the same, but that has a black tube, so that's a replacement and not meant to be there then?
