Well, here is one thing I think we all love!
Do you like to call, text, email, or meet up with other collectors? I do! I frequently talk with collectors John long (Gottahaveahoove), Toby Glenn (ge1969), Tom Gasko (Dysonman1), and Jimmy Martin (Rugsucker) I also love to call or get together with local collectors such as Tyler M (goshoover), Jon D (no account), and Ray M (BikerRay) What collectors do you enjoy talking vacuums with? Since my job, five days per week, is talking to everyone and anyone who visits the Vacuum Cleaner Museum - I get burned out talking sweepers by the end of an 8 hour day.
It's a dream job, don't get me wrong. They built a Museum to house my collection. The collection is always growing - I get donations almost daily. As far as talking about them with friends, I have a small group of close friends on a facebook group, where we talk about anything (including vacuums). I'm not much of a telephone person any more - we used to do that all the time before the internet. |

I am in contact with some regularly. I'm now talking to a few new ones, who seem to be very nice indeed.
From the VCCC/Vacuumland, I've made true friendships which will last a lifetime. Tom Anderson is one such person. Although no longer a member, we talk weekly, I visit his home at least once a year. Together, we have been inside every single Hoover building, both open and even the closed ones. We've also been through TTI headquarters. It's great to talk w/ fellow collectors, share ideas, etc. |

I'm not home. I'm at the college, then, some nights I go to my aunt's to check on her and have dinner with her.
You may call after 11 p.n. also. Sister Barbara calls me every night at 11:30...I'm the only relative she has left on the planet, and she live in the nuns'nursing home.I always enjoy hearing from you, John |
