50's Rainbow

My model "C". Came to me from the home of the original owner and found in the basement by the new owner. Works beautifully and used when I dont feel like dragging out the big one!

I have 3 model Ds

One is a 56 the others are 58 and 59 models, I lost my pics somehow so I will try to take a few and post them, Both are gold hammertone, and the 56 has the 8.2 amp motor and thick cord used for just a few years, its not much if any more powerful the later ones.

Model C common?

I have seen several for sale lately, so I would say yes. This model is a 1950 I believe, so its life could have lasted into the sixties or seventies for a very thrifty and careful owner. It has good suction, great tools and does a good job. Adequate as someone recently told me, for the requirements of the time. Of course, it cant hold a candle to yours! Congratulations on your new Rainbow! Its a great machine.
