I purchased a Silver King vacuum cleaner in February 1973 and recently replaced the motor giving it new life. My problem is now to find the proper filters.
I am looking for the donut filters. The white donut filter #3167 and the yellow filter #3168. If anyone has or knows of a source for these filters I would be ever so grateful for that information.
Also,in the event I want to replace the hose, wands or attachments, it would be helpful to know a source for those items.
Thank you for any help that anyone can give.

The only thing I can see is to try and find New Old Stock at an old time dealer. The company at that time was located in Lyons, Illinois. Vac shops within a 100 mile radius probably saw those machines the most. It will be like finding a needle in a haystack, but never hurts to look.

As far as attachments and a new hose, your best bet would be to buy another machine from eBay. I've seen them, complete with vinyl hose and tools, for less than $50.

Silver King moved to Colorado years ago. The new disc filters are cloth HEPA material, which would not require the use of your donut filters to achieve even better filtration with your present machine.

Im about an hour from Lyons. Ill see if the older shops have Filters. If they do, they are Your's for the price of the filters and shipping.
