I don't have an Aquarius but I do have the Capricorn! It's a great vacuum, lots of suction, very quiet, great filtering. On the con side, the hose and power cord are both too short.

Congrats Logan...

I'm pea green with envy. You're going to love the Aquarius. I too have the Capricorn and love it. But, I also love the retro aqua color of the Aquarius. Andy, we may need to discuss a further addition to my growing Miele collection. You know how much I love Mieles.

Logan, I spoke with Andy the other day and he raved about your visit. I heard that you were of tremendous help to him.

Mike

I would look for one of those if I ever had to buy a new canister. I love that turquoise too.

Someday I will purchase a Miele.

Hey Logan,

That is one beautiful Miele. I too am a Miele fanatic, and have a Red Velvet, as well as a White Pearl. Where did you get this one. I may just have to bite the bullet and get one myself!

Evan

By the way, what do you think of that floor brush. I had the opportunity to try one recently, and thought it was the most agile and ergonomic floor tool I ever used. In my opinion, that alone can easily justify the cost of the entire vacuum.

Hey Evan,

I got that Miele from Tom while I visited his vac store for a few days. I ALMOST bought a school bus yellow Solaris that was NOS and purchased a power nozzle, etc. separately, but in the end, the Aquarius ended up being a better choice for me. I like that the turquoise color is sort of retro and matches my Electrolux Model G nicely!

P.S. Yes, I love the bare floor tool. One of the bathrooms in my house is very small and I can just manuever that thing right around the sink, toilet, etc. with no problems. I LOVE IT!

Nice Color!

I own the Miele Capricorn with the SEB-236 as you do, and love the machine. These have so much suction it's unreal. Sad to say, but it has way more suction than my Kirby Ultimate G Diamond Edition. Enjoy your Miele, you will love it! I use mine for 2-3 hours at a time about twice a week.

Logan

Congrats on the new Miele. I love my Blue Moon and it is my daily driver. That bare floor tool is wonderful!! Mine did not originally come with one of those but Andy turned me on to it and sent me one last year (thanks again Andy!) The aqua color scheme is very retro and am thinking of adding one to my collection.

Logan,
That is a stunning vacuum. It looks retro and at the same time very new. Love the color!

Forget the extra room, you better see if you can wheedle your neighbor out of the house next door as a vacuum house! (LOL)

Logan this is just over the top awesome! I don't come in this modern section that often (I just plain forget usually) but I guess I will need to more often!

There is just nothing in the world like a Miele, and I love the colors and design of the latest ones especially. Mine is a straight suction one that I love, and I imagine one day I'll visit Andy and upgrade to a power nozzle one, just because. :-)

Hi Logan, congratulations on joining the "Miele Experience" I`m sure you will have lots of fun using it....is this the model with full remote control on the handle?? if so and the gray hose is not wired I`d recommend getting the extra length hose grey ...it makes such a difference...enjoy, Mike

The blue Aquarius is gorgeous - I saw one in a shop in Waterloo yesterday. Mucho $$$. :-(

Today in London at the TA Appliance Warehouse Store aka Big Box I snapped pics of the Blue Star and Luna and their Canadian pricetags. For some reason some Canada models have different names for the same series. ? Ours are named after Olympian Gods while American ones have Outer Space names. or something. I/m confused...

Our S4s are called in ascending order - Apollo, Hera, Hermes, Zeus and Poseidon. The poseidon has the RF Control ComfortHandle.

What I mean is, your blue Aquarius is called the bol Janus here and has the dial control. The Luna is silver with electronic control pad and the Jupiter is a gorgeous dark charcoal blue and is the top of the S5 line available to us.

Ooo I like the yellow too! Pretty soon Miele is going to be like Hoover of old with their colors....and I'll have to buy one of every one! LOL

Never heard of the TA store, where's it near.. I'll have to go have a look see one of these days.

Hey Dave, mine would be the same as the Luna you pictured above. I have the electronic control on the machine instead of the manual dial. :-)

It's fairly new I guess, Pete. Has one of those raucus annoying TV commercials. Came up in the yellow Pages search for Miele vacuums.

a Gemini, does that count?
I dated someone who had an old Mile, an old Eureka, and a little dirt devil. Oh what I had to endure.
