When Maytag began doing it, it was the beginning of their end. Who will buy who though? Will Aerus buy Tacony, or will Tacony buy Aerus? Or they may have a long partnership like Sears and Panasonic? |

Tacony has a long history of private labeling their vacuums for manufacturers who either can't or won't innovate on their own.
The Fresh Era is a Hoover. Made in China, private labeled for Aerus. It's also available as a Hoover and a Royal, as well as a Rubbermaid. Tacony also private labeled for Hoover when they were here in America. The Riccar 8000 series as well as the Simplicity Freedom were private labeled, and sold in Hoover Authorized Service Centers.
