Are you installing new hinges/hooks for rug plate so it can attach to the floor nozzle? If so, yes drill out or grind out the old broken pieces out and use rivet tool to install new ones into the old holes.
There is definitely more elaborate process you can follow but it is not worth the hassles - so keep it simple and drill/grind out old pieces and pop rivet in new pieces into the old holes. | ||
