I found it at last!!! I have been looking For one for so long !!! The extension tube could use replacement as there is a duck taped crack and shattered part on it. The rest of the tools are good. It came with all attachments!! I got it at good will for $10.37 with tax. Any suggestions for the power drive belt is there a belt I can substitute it with ? It's blueish greenish. I'm in love with it!!!

Wonderful! Those really are great machines! Amazing at carpet, easy to use, not huge motor or screaming. Belts should be available still, last I looked anyway.

Power Drive belt? Are you referring to the smaller belt that runs the Self Propel mechanism? If so, go to your local vac shop & ask for a Filter Queen powerhead belt. They are exactly identical, & will fit perfectly. Be warned though, it will be a tight fit, so be prepared to struggle a little with the belt & utter the odd swear word, LOL.

For belts I always use genuine manufacturer!

The belt for the brush roll is 38528-008. They are still available for sale.

The belt for the Power Drive is 160147 AG They are still available for sale.

Both are on Hoover.com website or you could ask at your local vac shop for those part numbers or you could search any number of your favorite online retailer.

For me I use genuine manufacturer for belts. For bags I try to use genuine manufacturer but sometimes for the HEPA ones it works out significantly cheaper to use a generic, just depends!

Your choice if you wanna try the Filter Queen belt or get the genuine Hoover!! I can't vouch for the Filter Queen belt, I never tried it in one. I have had 2 Hoover Power Drive uprights and they are wonderful cleaners that are powerful and easier to use than a Kirby G series self propel when working properly in my experience!!

I have included a link below to VCDiscounter for the 160147 belt. If you get 2 or more belts the price is $2.00 each.

Here's some photos of the two that I used to own. I gifted the green to a great friend cause as a Hoover collector he needed to try a great! The other I sold to a client I was living with when I bought it. It was a gorgeous blue and I kinda miss that one!

"can a concept brush roll be put into these?"

I think they can because I had a red one that had a concept brush roll in it and it was the best vacuum I ever had.

I really enjoy mine.  I just picked up the beige one THirsday.  I didn'tplan,  but, as the great late Jackie "O" said, "I'll take this in every color".
