Tried touching up the Olympia One I redid a few months ago.

The store was out of the paint pens  I really wanted. I had to make do with some extra fine point ones. (Not a good idea)

Next time I will order some. The sharpie brand leaked when it wasn't supposed to.

the colors I used are silver metallic, red, and black (Going for the 1205 logo look)

First time using paint pens, (next time I will use a paint pen with a small chisel point tip)

I've done that...

Chisel point is the way to go. Most important is to take your time.

Thanks for the advice. I haven't used the paint pens; sounds like a good idea.

Regarding the "boat-shaped" border of the 1962 Electrolux Corporation (USA) logo, here are the colors of those on the side bumpers from 1968-1982:

Model 1205 (teal): red (sometimes the red has turned darker over the years appearing more black)

Model 1205/Jubilee: gold

Model 1401/Super J: gold (later black--or had they been redone?)

Model 1401, 1401-B, 1505/Olympia One: black

Model 1505/Silverado: black

The "Electrolux" letters were all black.

The Olympia was brown not black.

It was brown, now it is blue. (a more modern look)

I did not care for the brown look, and re-finished it a few months ago.

I am re-doing the lettering on the door, and the bumpers. (that is what I am using the paint pens for)

Since this pic was taken, I have cleaned the bumpers up some more.
