It's amazing...

how people try to get more money! eBay needs to do something about this! There is NO WAY that a vacuum, more or less a CANISTER, would weigh enough to need $130 shipping and handling!!!!!! SCAMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shipping on this Lux

I think the shipping is adjusted to the zip code of each individual's eBay information. I don't know how it's done because I've never sold on eBay; but I have noticed several of these items with the automatic calculation of shipping cost set up as per one's zip code.

If you look, it specifically lists YOUR zip code with the shipping amount. So he had evidentally given some type of measurement[s] with this machine that is automatically calculated per each zip code. For me in Memphis, TN it turns out to be $71.40...!

The question is...what measurement did he give...........??? Did he give weight, size....what? It does seem excessive though.

The shipping to Los Angeles

came out to $130.00. I don't know what measurements he gave, or what size of carton, but he could almost send a half dozen of them at that rate. The average cost of a Model XXX from here to the East Coast is about $25 give or take depending on the zone.
