How simple is it to replace the headlight wires and socket in my 519 model Kirby? I have made a few attempts to re-attach a wire which was severed from the socket (from accidentally running the machine against a metal floor vent) with not much success. Ordering the part is not much of a problem though Would this be safe to try by myself? Does anybody know of any other alternatives to what could be used in the headlight cover instead which would not be to bulky?
