Please help me decide!! Only a few hours till I leave:

Ok, I need quick decision help: I am gifting my parents a vacuum of mine since they need one. It will either be the Hoover PowerMax Supreme S3611 or Hoover Windtunnel S3630. The PowerMax is older but possibly in better shape cause it doesn't seem to have as much use. It is TOL with controls on handle. It's my first machine with those controls on handle.

Or

Hoover Windtunnel Canister S3630. Newer style than the PowerMax and larger cleaning head for wide open areas of their home. This unit has a little more wear than the PowerMax but even if the power head died my parents have back up power nozzles.

I was originally thinking the Windtunnel but now I'm not sure because it was a gift to me. Is it right to regift? But it's my parents. Also it's the only Windtunnel I have in the house! I have 2 PowerMax canisters. I can't give away my PowerMax S3603, even though it's a down graded model from the S3611. I love navy blue vacuums too much!!! Also that particular model has a lot of sentimental value as its the model of the 1st PowerMax canister I ever used and fell in love with!!!

So perhaps I should give them a PowerMax instead? I would gladly give them a Hoover Dimension 1000 except for weight and filtration. My parents would not fuss with gluing bag collars onto Kenmore HEPA bags to improve Dimension 1000 filtration!!!

I think you should give them the Powermax.
