This plastic thing is new to me. How do I get it apart. No screws visable!

Open bag door. Place a straight screwdriver long ways behind rear of BUMPER, where it meets the cord winder. Tap screwdriver with hammer until bumper moves forward (towards front cover). Pull bumper on it's track, straight forward until it's removed. Once both bumpers are off, the machine comes apart like an egg. Turn it upside down for best results when separating halves of machine.

Thanks for the description and for the photos. But I am still not understanding this seemingly easy project.
