Bags are still available, I'm sure. These are PHENOMENAL vacuums! I absolutely love mine and it's carpet brush! They had a name for it, dual action? I forget, whatever it is it sure knows how to do it's job! laughing

I parted one out a while back. I still have a few pieces.

Nobody responded to my post about the availability of the parts.

I have the hose, non running motor, and cloth bag.

Blkn, what was wrong with the motor? These things are tanks, you'd have to put one trough hell and back TWICE to get it CLOSE to not running! tongue-out

I may need the hose. Toby has a friend who might part with one, so would you mind holding that one as a backup?
Thanks!

The motor did not start up. The top and bottom of the canister is crimped together.

The switch is inside the canister, with no way to service it.

The hose is in fair condition. No rips, but the inside is a little rusty. I have not tried to clean it.For now, I am holding onto the parts.

Here it is, sliced open

I'm pretty sure the motor can be pulled out of the vacuum from the screws inside the bag chamber. It didn't do anything when you hooked it up? Did you try bypassing the switch? Best of luck! wink

yes, i am aware of the motor.

I pulled it and tried it. nothing.

The metal canister is gone now, but some pieces remain.

I was hoping someone had interest in some parts.

In my area, old Electroluxes dominate by far. On any given day, there is no shortage of them on CL.

the old Electrolux factory location is about 30 miles from me, GE's old factory location is less than 10.
