Hi, I have the Electro-Hygiene vacuum that looks like the one in this picture
from the forum Post# 194255 , Reply# 12 8/11/2012 at 01:22 (1,169 days old) by hygiene903 (Galion, OH).

I purchased from a thrift shop and the dust bag inside was torn and full. I pulled it off by removing the band and the paper tube came right off. But now I don't know what current vacuum bag fits. I thought maybe the royal type A bag but wasn't sure.

Would someone have a link to a source for bags for these vacuums? In the US?

Many thanks.

Royal Type A was discontinued some years ago, but it's just a DIRECT copy of the Eureka F&G bag, which can be found just about anywhere wink

The Eureka F&G bag will fit the Electro-Hygiene upright?

Thanks for the reply. To confirm, the Eureka F&G bag will fit the Electro-Hygiene upgright vacuum? I wasn't positive the Royal A bags actually fit.

Yes, the Eureka F & G bags work great! I have used them even when the Royal type A bags were still being made, as they were less expensive and could be found almost anywhere. An Electro-Hygiene is always a nice find, hope you enjoy it.

I suspect you have a model 880 (1966-68), 890 (1968-71) or 903 (1971-75). From 1971, the bag on your machine would be red in color with silver screenprint.
