Hey everyone,
Just thought I'd share my Rainbow D2. I found it on Kijiji for $30 I was amazed at the condition it was in! I'm so glad I got it I was pondering weather or not to buy it. For 45 years old it's in awesome condition and works great!

Nice chrome dome! Do you have the hose and all the attachments for it as well?

Countryguy I do the the hose and the wand with original floor brush, I wish I had the rug nozzel. The hose is quite stiff though so when I do use the vacuum I use the hose from my SE

That's a very nice model D. Model D2's had a power nozzle outlet to the right of the intake.

I have the original hose for mine also and it is very stiff too which is why I bought a replacement hose.

Year of manufactur?

eurekapowernozz's profile picture
Does anyone know how to tell the year a Rainbow model D was made the serial number is 3463699.
Im guess it is either 1963 or 1969. I know my SE was built in 1997 but it was easy to find on the D4 models.

Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone I know as asked once already, I was just hoping for a bit more input on the suspected age of my Rainbow model D? I know that title says D2 how ever that was just thinking and typing to fast. If you have anymore input on age that would be most appreciated.
