Found all this on the curb.
Original manual. Accessories etc
Also had some vintage Electrolux parts.
Really cool vintage Electrolux manual fro what appears to be the 1950's

I really wish I could find a treasure such as this!  Wow, TWO Kirby Classic II units, original hose, accessories, even the original box!  Some of the accessories look a little rough, but what do ya want for free?!

Actually, the accessories in the box have never been used. But the extension tube and hose have been. The other hose still had a kirby sticker on it. The renovator had never been used. Odd thing is, the cords are on different sides of the machine. I picked up a perfect kirby classic omega last week, complete with full set of attachments. The man said it's too heavy for this wife to push.

Paul,

I got a Kirby Classic Omega also!

Regarding your two Classic IIIs, what are the serial numbers imprinted on the front of the fan case in the area where the Emtor is? They are stamped on the rectangular "plaque."

Example: B850414, D663143.

Paul,

Yes, exactly.

B443955 crosses over to a winter/spring 1977 period of manufacture.

D667978 crosses over to a spring/summer 1978 period of manufacture.

Wow!! Great save.

Kirby's aren't too common roadside here.

2 months back someone was cleaning house before putting it up for sale and I found a case of attachments for a Kirby tradition and the hose, next week they set out the matching rug shampooer/renovator and shag tool, alas...no vacuum sadly.

The best I ever did was a Hoover Convertible U4047 by the curb YEARS ago! Haven't even seen another convertible that old since then!
