Hello,
My name is Brad Kisling, I am the Museum Director for the Museum Of Clean in Pocatello, Idaho.

Here is the link to our web site: www.museumofclean.com...

I am reaching out to you for several reasons. First, I would like to invite any or all of your members to come visit our museum, hopefully as part of an upcoming convention for your club, or a meeting of some of your members. We offer great group rates and a truly unique experience, not only for vacuum lovers (we boast one of the most extensive and finest collection of pre electric vacuums in the world), but to anyone interested in not only the history of clean, but of the value of clean as applied in many aspects of our lives. Pocatello is located within approximately two hours to many attractions and areas of great interest and beauty, such as Yellowstone National Park, The Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole, Sun Valley and Salt Lake City to name a few.

Secondly, I would like to ask your club and its members help in contributing to the growth of our museum. We are constantly growing and looking to expand our electric vacuum collection with some new exciting displays, including a new 1950's and 1960's themed area. We are hoping some of your members may be interested in donating vacuums that will be enjoyed by our visitors for many years to come. The Museum Of Clean is a 501 3C entity and donations are tax deductible.

Lastly, any help or advice your club and it's members can offer us would be much appreciated. Perhaps leads on acquiring collections and or individual pieces and such. We are also interested in any art, ad copy, or promotional materials related to vintage vacuums.

I truly appreciate your time and considerations as well as any and all efforts on our behalf. Please feel free to contact me at any time, either by phone or by email.

Very best regards,

Brad Kisling

So glad to hearfrom you.  If/when I ever get to Idaho,  your museum will be a must see destination. I deal strictly with HOOVER (company, products, family history, etc), but I do play well with others and appreciate those who have an interest in others.

Museum of Clean !

Brad Kisling,
Good to see you on here.I had recently mentioned MOC along with the very few other museums that would feature vacs.I have met D Aslett(& have a signed copy of 1 of his many books) as well as P Frei.I am familiar with many of the former Frei vacs.Did the museum also acquire the early electric Booth vac that was used for decades in the same British rug cleaners?
Could you add more vac photos to show what you do or do not have?
As for myself I have MANY vacs from teens,20s through 70s,80s & more & MORE including some commercial & industrial vacs and polishers with no building now or ever to properly display. You have a great building in a wonderful region and possible gaps & missing machines.I would very much like to discuss if these two situations might in some way fit together.I am also very distracted recently with other matters including another death in family and a growing book business taking more time. Will add more later.
Jimmy Martin(aka rugsucker!)
