I bought one for my Mom's Sentria 2. It works just as you'd expect of a Kirby shampooer. The hardest thing is manipulating that red, angeled hose to connect it to the shampoo tank. Kinda tricky to get it, but once it's connected, it works much as previous shampooers. The enclosed dirty water and foam tray is a nice feature and is easy to lift up and empty. I definitely liked the added function of spin-mopping hard floors.
Considering upgrading my own for my Ultimate G Diamond. |

I have used the Avalir newly designed shampooer. I do like the enclosed tray and as the previous poster mentioned, it is easy to empty and mount back on the shampooer. My problems with all the Kirby shampooers is there is too much dead space where the tray is. Wish they could figure out how to have the brush roll in front, which would allow for edge cleaning...yes you do get the foam shampoo on the carpet next to walls and doors, but alot of that area even if you turn the Kirby a different direction, still does not get brushed, just the foam shampoo. For that reason, I usually use the Electrolux Floor Pro, with its triangle design, it gets into tighter
spaces of which I have a few.. PR-21 Bud |
