I like that a lot. Is that a Hoover/Wards?

Now I see the Eureka tools under the cover. I need a Eureka canister again, just for the record.

While we're on the subject of Monkey Wards I was wondering if anyone had a picture or the machine of a Monkey Wards badged eureka that had an orange base and would have been sold late 70's early 80's. This machine holds special memories as it was my late great grandmothers.

I always wondered how Montgomery Ward came to be known as "Monkey" Wards anyway. That's what we always called them around here, too. Possibly just a shortened version of Montgomery?
