Looks very tempting.
I hope they have still good features like Electrolux is known for. I mean low sound level, good suction, sealed filtration, long cleaning reach etc.
All models where name starts with Ultra has been very good.

I wish they'd bring back the Electrolux branding, but sadly Lux ruined their own reputation by producing some utterly terrible, cheap machines.

Does the bagless models use high efficiency cyclones - like the Ultra Captic? It doesn't look like it's any more than a single cyclone machine now?

It's a single cyclone system. Just like my ex (I sold it) UltraPerformer/U.Active. Cyclone is separate from the bin and has quite small diameter to accelerate the separation. Foam pre motor filter is also separate from the bin. Works fairly well, but it's not good as multi cyclone systems.
My experience is, that large foam filter needs to be washed about once or two times in a month (UltraPerformer/U.Active). I had two filters so never needed to wait filters to dry.
Those new models are basically Ultraflex with the new skin and apparently new motor.

I thought that might be the case. I had seen the videos online about this "new" AEG bagless and realised that it might not the be the same as the UltraCaptic. UltraCaptic may well be re-released with a lower EU conforming motor though if the company want to continue with multi-cyclonic. I think they would be nuts if they stopped that, personally.

Multi cyclone UltraCaptic had 1400w motor and 300 airwats of suction. To be honest it is enough (more than the most powerfull Dyson canister), but new EU regulations will force vacuum cleaner manufacturers to reduce the motor wattage. Electrolux seems to be having idea that more suction is better. Reality is that multi cyclone system against the single system will need more powerfull motor. More complicated air ducting = more resistance. So seems to me like the Electrolux has decided to keep it simple to maintain the suction.
Seems crazy, but I don't see UltraCaptic in Electrolux lineup anymore in Finland.
I hate EU regulations.

The Vax Mach Air range originally had 1300 watts and is multicyclonic. Current ones at 800 watts and 1200 watts prove it can continue, Same with Hoover Europe products and their Airvolution.

UltraCaptic is the best bagless vac Electrolux has made. So I too hope they continue making it.
It is a bit pricey especially the powerhead models, but so is the Dyson. Design is a bit different compared to other multi cyclone vacuums. It has separate chamber in the bottom for the very fine dust coming from the small cyclones. In the same (chamber) is the pre motor filter. Main bin is very good design in my opinion. Very easy to empty and dust "packing" system.
Personally I also like the single cyclone UltraFlex models. A bit more filter maintenance, but cheaper and more simple design. Also quiet and powerfull.
Maybe I have seen too many videos in youtube where the multi cyclone system has clogged up :)

This one on Amazon isn't an Ultra Captic but I think it might be multicyclonic - it has a 1200 watt motor.

Single cyclone

It took time to me figuring out is it single or multi cyclone system. It's a single cyclone system.
How it works is, that dust coming from the hose travels through the right side (removable) pipe to the cyclone.
Air exiting from the cyclone travels through the left side pipe to the pre motor filter located behind the bin.

There is brand new multi cyclone vacuum from the AEG called AEG CyclonClean.
It isn't true AEG or Electrolux. It's designed by some other manufacturer. Same case is the Electrolux/AEG T8, not real Electrolux.
Specs aren't Electrolux standad. Like operation radius just 7,20 meters, HEPA just H10 and filtaration B (EU label).
But it sure look interesting and sound level for baggles vacuum is just 78 Db.

Nicer than the versions we get in the UK under the Zanussi brand.
