I believe this Hoover is a 1960's vac. which I recently acquired. I even found the type E bags which are NLA. But for whatever reason I can't seem to connect the bag to the tube at the bottom of the chamber. I was wondering that perhaps there is an extension part missing. The cardboard lip just doesn't stay on. Please help!!
