I am unable to connect the replacement Type E bag in my recently acquired Hoover S2087. Perhaps I am missing an extension part as it is very difficult to place the cardboard end. Help!

Some Quik Brooms are bagless. My Quik Broom Supreme from the mid-'90s (I don't remember the model number) is one of them. It's weird design with a cloth bag up top and a transparent dirt cup down below. I had a bagged one back in the '80s that I preferred to this design.

There should be a plastic Cage that comes out to place the bag on and then it goes in the canister.
