"H Master Deluxe" bags are bojack (non-Hoover) after-market replacement bags that were, once upon a time, sold at vac shops. Since they are not genuine Hoover bags, they can't carry the Hoover name on them, hence just the letter "H."

I've seen other similar bojack bags called "Filter Power" and "Kleenco," and some that just say [in tiny letters] "to fit" [and in big block letters] "HOOVER" and [in tiny letters] "made for" [in big block letters] HOOVER [tiny letters] by Dust-All."

Bojack bags were also made for just about every other brand of upright machine that used cloth bags.

Some of them are very close in design and color to -- and as nice as -- the original bags, but ... well, they're not original. For sticklers of originality, replacement bags detract from a machine's aesthetic appeal.

The fleabay 825 (probably the one you saw) I have coming has that same non-original bag. It don't much matter to me, as the whole machine looks like it needs a complete rebuild. But, at least after a long deliberation, I've finally picked a Hoover model to rebuild.
