Hey guys and gals. I just bought a Hoover 825 that is in dire need of a complete rebuild, and the seller is asking me how to remove the handle and electric cord from the motor so he can ship it. Since I don't have one in front of me, I have no idear how to do it. Would one of you mind passing some knowledge on to me?

I figure it's like a 700 with a pinch bolt and a plug on the bottom of the handle, but I'm just not certain.

Like chad said, loosen the screw/wing nut and pull the handle out. There's a plug at the bottom.
