I was at the thrift store and almost didn't pick this up. They had the box all taped up and I couldn't tell what was all inside. Took a chance and I glad I did! It is a Vax 121 with all the attachments, and in excellent shape at that! When and where were these even sold here in the states?

I saw that exact model with the box and attachments in a thrift shop last week! I passed on it, but I wondered the same thing you did about wether or not they were sold in the USA.

I had gotten mine in 1979 but I can't remember if it was from Golden Triangle, Leeds or Kaufmans.

at Impact!!  I wasn't sure if it was "THE" Vax.  Now, I'll know, if I ever see another.

Nice find! Their getting rare to be boxed over here, let alone over there!

The power head is crap, dont get your hopes up there! Looks very clean though. Our serial numbers were different to yours though

I refurbed one a few weeks back if it helps. If its got a supressor fitted, their very fragile nowadays if theyve been stored in the damp for a while..
