I'll list this soon in Supermarket, I think. There is a red one, no hose, BUT... thinking of my fellow collectors... are you ready??? I got 'someone who'll like it" a gray/silver hammertone tristar WITh hose and powernozzle. See.. I thought of others W/O it being a HOOVER. I surely don't want it, but I thought someone in here would. Pics soon. John |

My aunt said to me, "I hope you're not going to keep that". My response was,"Does it say Hoover? No, but someone in the group WILL want this thing". Last year, I passed up the green one. I learned. I doubt this saw much action. It's virtually spotless.
Someone has already expressed an interest. I'll post pics when I can. It's currently in my aunt's trunk. I'll "transfer the body" later tonight. John |

You sound like you have done this before...
Just make sure it stays within a safe distance of the Hoovers, wouldn't want any cross-contamination.
Do you ever get curious about other brands machines? Even HOOVER themselves probably took interest in other "inferior" vacuums, if only to compare and make theirs better. |

Curious about o thers?I've used other cleaners....friends' houses, workplaces, etc. But,was I ever curious about owning others? Not at all.I know some roll their eyes...Ireally don'tcare.People have tried to f orce, suggest, even shame me into it.No thanks.I'm happy exactly where I am. If others have a problem w/ME using only Hoovers...well,it's really their problem,to deal with or not.I have no problem at all.Lucky guy. Also, HOOVER Did compare, etc other brands...and had copies in the vault. I saw the shelves where they were stored. They had a copy of EVERYTHING. |

I feel the same, and to be honest if I had a bigger collection of Hoovers I would probably get rid of my "other" machines. The only reason I keep them all is because I only have five Hoover models and the others keep a bit of variety too. If I had 20+ Hoovers I'd have little/no interest in other brands - my true passion lies with only one brand.
In my opinion, and this may be a little biased, but I think it says a lot about a person to be strongly loyal to a manufacturer and is certainly not something that should be used against them. |

Um.. like Hoover copying Miele with the layout of having tools on top under a flap, to the general bag design in some of their cylinder vacs from the 1980s? Hoover of course weren't alone in copying. |
