Ok, so recently I've been looking around on craigslist and I see what looks to be a normal destiny plus, but it actualy looks like the original Fantom with the grey bumper handle grip etc, but it still says its a Kenmore. Can you give me any info on it because I have never seen this model before and its in good shape for only $5. Is it rare? Should I get it? Pictures coming later

I don't know much

But what I do know what you are looking at is a Fantom Thunder just rebadged under the Kenmore name

That is a RARE early version of the Kenmore Destiny Plus, with all cream accents. You can tell it's early because the trim on later versions were blue, then black. This one, i'd guess is from 1993 or 1994. Great vacuums, and i'd say they are even MORE rare than an original Fantom, its identical counterpart!

Wow. I knew it was rare but not that rare! Does it look good? It doesn't have any attachments but I have a Thunder with all of them. I can post pics of it if you like its fairly close to new just needs brushroll and belt.(The Thunder)

I'd say it's pretty nice!

There doesn't seem to be any obvious points of breakage.
