I picked this up from the Goodwill in Amarillo for a sweet $10. I've always loved these things.

This model came out in 1983 going by the logo on it.

Looks like a Hoover

Looks like a re-badged Hoover Quik Broom. I had the Hoover version for several years. Got it for Christmas in 1986 and got rid of it in 1998. Looked just like yours except where yours is orange, mine was blue and there was a Hoover logo on the nozzle. It did great on hard floors and was lousy on carpets. I gave it to Goodwill because where I lived at the time was almost entirely carpeted.

I found myself wanting one again after i bought my house last year and most of the floors are hardwood or vinyl. I picked up a 1994 vintage Quik Broom Supreme a little over a week ago. I'm not totally happy with it. I wish it were more like yours. the nozzle tends to clog very easily, compared with the more open design of yours. I also dislike the dirt cup on mine. I wish it were bagged.

I have several of the HOOVER versions.

I too, prefer the bagged ones.  I also have the tols for a lot of them.  Hoover surely didn't skimp:  ultraflex hose and the famous same quality tools that fit all of the Convertibles, Connies, etc.

I like that color combo, too.

The nice thing is

that you can remove the handle, attach the tools, including the strap, strap it on, and use it like a Pixie.
