Hello, I do not post much on here I mainly just read posts by other members but I came across this on eBay. It looks like a regular PowerForce bagged just green in color and labeled as "Commercial". I wasn't sure if there was a difference between this and a regular PowerForce and why it was so overpriced for a cheap quality machine, so I am just asking if anybody knows and could give me some info on it.
Thanks
-Nick

It's the $39 Bissell from Wal-Mart, with a long 3 prong grounded cord, and a deluxe stretch hose.

Tom

You forgot to mention the 'valuable and costly'custom pretty colors!
(I have a customer that cleans houses with the WalMart version and gets reasonable good service for the price. She used to have Hoover Elites.)

If you think that Bissell is overpriced, here is the identical Samsung commercial vacuum....and it's even more expensive!

Thanks Rob!

For showing me that Samsung I do recall hearing about it but I forgot about it. What's next is Apple gonna make an I-Vac which is the same as the Bissell for $999? Some companies I swear think that people are stupid these days haha.

A little over priced?

We dont even have Bissell bagged uprights in the UK, let alone Samsung bagged uprights - think yourself lucky. On the basis that an equivalent Hoover Purepower upright in the UK costs £89 which is $140 and not even a commercially built model, I'd say the U.S have got it good!

Edmar Vac

Edmar Vac is the main company that promotes these items. It would not surprise me if they all come out of the same factory and those with more inside knowledge could fill in for me, but Edmar Vac used most of the Bissell Commercial models except for this Powerforce, and Bissell's Big Green carpet cleaner as Oreck commercial models. Anyone remember the Oreck/Sanitaire knockoff"s? Those knockoff"s were Perfects just labeled for Oreck. Edmar lost the licensing agreement with Oreck/TTI and now the same is happening with Bissell. Again if someone has more knowledge about this please feel free to chime in.
