I have been in search for a vacuum that would fit my needs. Reading the threads here has been helpful and fun. This site and its members has completely changed my view on vacuums and vacuuming. What use to be a dreaded chore is now a calming respite. So thank you all, whether you are a fan of the Kirby, Filter Queen, Miele, Sebo, Rainbow, Lindhaus, Hoover, Dyson or any other the other brands. I have appreciated both the passion and detailed knowledge you have supplied in the threads. I would also like to thank the collectors for their imput. I am glad that in a world with some much nastiness that an overlooked hobby can bring a bit of joy. It may sound strange but I am happier with the knowledge that Vacuumland exists. Using this site I was able to purchase a vacuum that suited my needs perfectly and leverage the information into a great price. I chose the Sebo D4 and couldn't be more pleased. Again thank you for your help and passion :)

That's what we'rehere for.  Well,  part of what we're supposed to be here for. .. to share,  teach.  learn, enjoy.

Congrats and best of luck w/ your vacuum.... even if it's not a Hoover...  ( Oh,  I HAD to).  afterall, I DO have an image to uphold.  I'm sure you'll enjoy your machine.

Lol I like the fact that people on this forum feel strongly about their favorite vacuums :)

I used to be fairly loyal to Kirby but after having read so much information from the forum here and all the knowledge that's shared, I now have a Rainbow that I use and love and I have a Simplicity Snap ordered and on the way for quick clean ups. So thankful for everyone who has helped me enjoy vacuuming and vacuum cleaners even more than I already did!

As everybody knows,

I'm totally Hoover. Some people are annoyed by that.  Isn't that silly?

But,  you can see how much it bothers me, lolol.   Am I going to open the door and toss some cleaners out?  Nope.  Do I bash other brands OR the people who collect them?  Nope.   But, I could,  but I'll NEVER.

So, we like what we like, and collect what we collect.

I have very strong ties to The Hoover Company, for many reasons.
