I was wondering if someone can help me. I just rescued a Kenmore Progressive 300 upright from my Gramma's attic. I changed the bag and cleaned the motor. The filter is new, but its been used some since purchase. Does anyone have the door/cover to keep the filter on? My parts guy wants 70 bucks for one. the cover from the Progressive, 100, 200, 300, or 400 uprights will work if someone can send me one.
Thanks!
The last 2 pics are of vacuum's that have the cover I need.
If anyone can get me one (blue) that would be great!

I just love it, but the attic smelled rancid and the vacuum puts out a odd odor that is slowly fading. I need to get a new belt for it, though. it slips

Kenmore is either Panasonic or Sharp.
Yours was made by Sharp, so you may be able to find a Sharp to get the parts off of. I know I've seen a few of those at Goodwill.

That Kenmore upright was made by Panasonic. Sears never had a supplier contract with Sharp for upright vacuums.

I know that the canisters are made by Panasonic but for some reason I thought some of the uprights were made by someone else, I thought it was Sharp. Apparently I'm wrong. Sorry for the misinformation.

BikerRay...not a problem. :-)

It's easy to get misled with this particular Kenmore because I don't think Panasonic ever sold an identical upright with its own brandname on it. But it's definitely a Panasonic. It actually is an excellent deep carpet cleaner: Consumer Reports had it at the very top of its upright rankings when it was on the market.

Its really good. The belt keeps bogging down on some of my rugs, but i need a new belt for it anyways...it doesnt have the carpet groom of my Kmore canister, but its good
