I notice they still make most of these models, for the Italian market at least.

U7008C is such a "throwback" model, and I mean that in the good way. I wish I could get my hands on one. All of the Italian Hoovers are some of the neatest looking models. And the ones just like ours have some tricked out variation. Thanks for posting these!

But then, I feel Japanese design has had some definate high points too, be it industrial, art, domestic, fashion, architecture both traditional and modern..
