Received this morning a Hoover 652
Shipping by the FRENCH Poste. I opened the pack.... then sax the hood completely broken. It result I had to go this afternoon to a professional who repair and restore Hoover vaccums. I bought a browm hood on internet. Waiting wednesday to receive it. Motor is perfect and the rest of the machine is perfect. Be carefull if you have any project to work with the French Poste. |

The U.S. Postal Service can be just as brutal. They seem to interpret "Fragile" as an Italian word for "Throw it around some more".
I bought a vintage chrome Sunbeam Mixmaster mixer on eBay a few years ago and the seller packed it with the mixer attached to the stand. By the time it got to me, the pivot/connection point on the stand was broken and the turntable was smashed. Fortunately, the seller responded professionally and refunded my money. He also said he didn't want the mixer back and for me to dispose of it as I saw fit. Instead of disposing of it, I found a compatible white stand and turntable and still have that mixer. |
