Mine finally arrived today. It is so ridiculously quiet and powerful. The air flow is louder than the actual motor. The build quality of the motor and the attachments are top notch. Dan and Dan pretty much summed up all the features in their threads. Tom Gasko and the Tacony team, pat yourself on the back, job well done.

What a beautiful home. So glad that you're happy with the Prima. Now you understand exactly why Tacony spends so much time going through each machine to make sure it truly is perfect. Enjoy it in good health.

Hey Alphonse, do you think that the Mexican-made Kenmore canisters from Sears are crap compared to the Prima?

No

I don't think that at all. I really like the kenmores. Like anything, if you take care of it, it should last.
If you vacuum once a month, even a all metal royal is going to leave some dirt behind.

kenmore or prima

If I could only have one or the other of these, I would take the prima hands down. The newest kenmore's use a nonstandard hose size and there is no adapter that I know of to allow you to use standard attachments. I also have the Panasonic mc-cg902 which is based on a previous Kenmore design. It's a good vacuum, especially if you're on a budget, but the Prima is quieter and probably made better.
