The wand in the picture from the Riccar website, will not fit the standard connection of a Riccar canister. The neck of the power nozzle for the central vac is "universal" inch and a quarter, with a hole for the button of the wand. The cord coming out of the power nozzle runs all the way up the wand. A standard power nozzle for a canister has the quick release neck and no cord running up the wand.

Thanks! So it wouldn't work without replacing the neck. Probably makes the local deal less of a deal :) | ||
