I have tried to go quality over quantity. I am 15 and have had way more vacuums than are here. I can't keep them all due to space. I have had sebos, riccars, pannosonics, electroluxs and way more. These are ALL of my vacuums and I am looking for a vintage vacuum new in box to add to this collection. All my vacuums are Inperfect or near perfect condition because I am a neat freak. I buy all of them new unless they are vintage. I have had over 8 Dysons too that I bought all brand new. I love the small size of the dc 24.

Welcome to Vacuumland Spencer....love the Hoover WindTunnel Ultra! Top-rated upright in Consumer Reports for many years a while back.

I'll keep an eye out for a nice New-in-Box vintage Eureka for you!

Your just like me as far as collecting goes only brand new or close to mint as possible for me also .
Being a neat freak with OCD myself I can't imagine bringing a trash find into my house or something from a moldy basement and using it on my white carpets that would gross me out due to my OCD .

My collection is 98% brand new the rest are from relatives now I just gotta learn to let go of most of mine and have a nice easy to control collection as you have . Love the QUALITY you have great taste .
Enjoy your awesome collection

Dan

Thank you

I appreciate the nice comments. The only used vacuums I own I rebuild and they were from my grandparents that aren't very hard on them. I wouldn't bring a trash find into my house either. I almost said that in the original post but I didn't want to affend anyone.

Enjoy them all.  And,  yes,  it is important to always try not to offend others, as it really isn't a nice thing to do.  It can be easily done,  just as easily to avoid.

You have a nice collection there.

Spencer, you have a very nice collection there and you do take a lot of care in those machines as they all look stunning. I was wondering if that is a Dyson DC59 you have there with your DC24? I have been spying their new handhelds at work and I am really interested in acquiring one. Just wanted to see what your opinions are of them.

BUY IT

I would not get the dyson with the motor in the brush roll. It is more prone to go bad. We sell the dyson slim and v6 line at the shop I work at. I love the dc59 and I will use it until it dies ( in a long time ) it's cleaning performance is the best in any cordless vacuum I have tested besides the dyson motor head. The new v6 it the same exact thing except it is a different color. Just make shure you get this power head. You could take a Rick with the other one though. It would pick up too much fine dust to cope with the filteration, I think.

Thanks for the response Spencer. I have been using ours daily but I wanted a second opinion from one who own's one. I think I smell a vacuum purchase coming up now:)
