Kirby Model 510 Emtor Tray - Black Bakelite or Gray Plastic? |

I'm having trouble determining if my 510 should have a black bakelite Emtor tray or the later gray plastic kind. My 505 and 508 both have the bakelite trays. What model did they start using gray? I have both types of trays, but I'm not sure which is technically correct. The 510 in question is all original including the black wheels, which led me to believe the Bakelite tray is correct, but it had a gray one on it when I got it.
