So as some of you may have read, recently I purchased a Hoover Convertible Sears Brand Central model on Craigslist for $15. The machine was in beautiful cosmetic condition...but the motor, not so much. It would bog down and almost come to a halt as soon as the brush reached the carpet.

Wanting to get this remedied as soon as possible so I could enjoy the machine, I decided to contact none other than Mr. Hoover himself, John Gregory. I told him of the problems the machine was having and asked what it could be and if I could purchase the parts from his amazing store, Sweeper Central. He said he knew what the problem was and for me just to send my address and he would take care of it. How many people would do that!? This guy never ceases to amaze me with his enormous generosity.

I'm sure the picture will speak for itself...a few days later, I receive a box with all kinds of goodies in it. Brushes, Carbon brushes, brush roll bearings, a pack of belts...everything. So I would just like to thank Mr. Gregory for all that he has generously given me! This is the second time I have been the lucky recipient of his generosity...a while back he actually gifted me a Convertible 1060! His expertise and professionalism is outstanding!

Thank you, Mr. John Gregory! My machine is in great running shape again!!! Will always come back to Sweeper Central for all my Hoover needs!

John is the best! He's gotten so many of my Hoovers back into top shape AND taught me how to do it myself too.

Not to mention all the beautiful cleaners he's gifted to me, as well.

John Gregory is an awesome, generous man. But he also has an amazing sense of humor (dark and sarcastic like mine). I enjoy talking to him, and try to often as I can. The things he's told me about people who've been in his store is sometimes unbelievable, except its all true.

No one knows more about Hoover than John Gregory. My hat is off to him. And I don't say things like that lightly.
