DJub85 - As I read your post I was reminded of a question, or bit of "mystery" I've always wondered about... What happens when Rainbow or Kirby door-to-door reps are demoing units? Is the plan to always sell the very unit used in the demo? I have bought a Rainbow, Filter Queen, and Lux Guardian Ultra all brand new and made the reps bring me brand new "out of the box" units... I don't think the Rainbow rep did, but I had the Lux mailed to me, and actually picked up my FQ from the distributor... I guess what I'm saying is that I don't like how the door to door reps sell the very unit that could have been demo-ed 15 times prior to being sold.... Maybe I'm just picky, but at that point, those no longer qualify as a brand new unit in my opinion.

The national average is one sale for three demos. When I sold door to door Rainbows, we always sold the machine we demoed. No one ever asked for a different cleaner. We had towels in our briefcase to clean and dry the machine if we didn't sell it, so the next customer simply assumed it was brand new when we walked in the house. We were never supposed to leave the home without he machine ON, and in the customer's hand, vacuuming the rug. That way, the filthy water would 'resell' the customer over and over on their excellent decision to buy it.
