I just came across this listing for a Singer C10 on ebay. I've never seen one of these before. Unfortunately it appears quite a bit of this one is missing as well. Does anyone have / know more about these? It looks quite interesting.

Those attachments must have been made by Eureka - they are almost identical to Eurekas on the underside.
I don't see where the cord retracts....strange! I do remember these from when I was a teenager in the 1970's. So cool to see a retractable hose! Singer's response to (or cooperative venture with) Eureka's Crown Princess! |

Thanks for the info Jimmy. It is quite an interesting machine. I would say it was their answer to the Hoover Portable (Suitcase style) machines. Singer did also have one that was the same as the Eureka Crown Princess.
I would say you were definitely right about the removable tool rack for it as you can see an area on the back of the machine that hasn't yellowed as much as the rest. The rack probably covered that. Doug |

Hey All!! Does anyone have the Singer version of the Eureka Crown Princess? i'd love to see some pics of one. I have the Eureka Crown Princess and the Wizard version of the same cleaner, but have never seen the Singer version. Thanks, Toby G. |

Wow...I actually found the patent description for this Singer vac! The industrial designers were a pair of guys named Boznan and Fromknecht from Anderson, South Carolina. They submitted the patent in 1970 and it was given in 1972. Very interesting reading here:
