i think this was an air freshener but what ever it was it stunk (not nice!) and went straight into the bin

Not many after pics but oh well. I smothered this piece in hot glue to make sure it stays. It probably will snap in the future but it'll do for now |

Interesting read, you probably want to re-do it with some Araldite as I find hot glue isn't very strong. |

On our old DC02, the plastic of the handle/wand that goes into the pipe broke off. Glued the broken ring back onto the wand with Araldite, it's still attached and strong, probably 15 years after it was fixed. It gets used at work for vacuuming out PCs now. Hasn't had its filters changed since before 2008. |
