So today, I get my Sirena out to vacuum the mattress because I was changing sheets, and the PN is dead. I checked connections both at hose and handle and they were all tight. I them off/on several times and when the trigger is pressed, nothing..Additionally, something else I've noticed that never bothered me that bad because I never use low speed, but the fan icon button, when you press it to lower the speed, you have to press it several times before it actually lowers the speed. So I'm going to have to lug this to the vacuum shop since it's under warranty.

Does the PN have a reset button that could have tripped? |

NO I don't see a reset button. I emailed them and this is what he said in response. So I guess this was known and they fixed it. I received this response after I posted this topic.
Hi Mark, and thank you for contacting us regarding your Sirena. I tried to see where you purchased your unit, however it appears you have not yet registered it. When you have the time please register your unit by visiting our website www.sirenainc.com... and click on the register my Sirena button on the bottom right. That said it sounds like the fuse inside the power nozzle is likely the problem. There is a fuse required for North America only (the actual power nozzle motor is protected from overheating by an auto shut off), and since about 1/3 of our sales are in North America it took us awhile to determine the fuse as a potential problem. We now have a new fuse and holder which has proven itself to be problem free. We are more than happy to send this fuse to your dealer for replacement, or if you are comfortable with a screwdriver and pliers you could fix it yourself in about 15 minutes (we would send you the fuse and instructions). Given the fact you have the old fuse in your unit I suspect you also have the control board with a 4-5 second delay between high speed and low, we have upgraded this board as well and would be happy to send it to your dealer as well, or again if you are comfortable with a screwdriver that fix is about 10 minutes. I hope this was helpful, and we will process the repair request either when I receive a response from you or your dealer requests the parts. Thank you and have a great day! Wayne Robillard |

Don't worry, it sounds like it's a common problem and they are trying to remedy it.
I bet once get the new fuse everything will be ok.

the company responds quickly and is very helpful. Hopefully it will be ok after this fix. I'm not that upset honestly. I just dread lugging it to the vacuum shop when it's only 3 mos old. Obviously they knew of the problem and have fixed it. The lady at the vacuum shop told me they are super easy to work on.

Sirena emailed me telling me they sent the parts to the vacuum shop. The vacuum shop emailed me saying they received them so I could bring the vacuum in. I got the vacuum to the shop just a few hours before we ended up getting over 17 inches of snow. She said it would be ready next week......Hopefully this fixes the problem

I have to press the Low speed button on my Sirena twice to get it to move to low speed. Always has been like that. Also, my Sirena has a 'soft start' on Hi speed where it seems to 'surge' from off to high speed - kind of like belching. At the end of the day, it's just the way it was designed. The Sirena is an awesome machine, and for the price, it's a great value. I have friends with vac shops that sell the Sirena. It's pitched to everyone who has a Rainbow in for repair that's an SE-PE model or older. My friends sell a LOT of Sirena cleaners. On the facebook group I belong to, we normally post pictures of the dirty water after cleaning with our water filtration machines. Then we go for the jugular with comments like "disgusting", "Gross", and "nasty". All in good fun of course.
